Sgwd yr Eira

I went back to one of my favourite walks in the Brecon Beacons on the weekend which is Ystradfellte.
This time to photograph the awesome Sgwd yr Eira, ( Translated Fall of Snow).
This is the most popular waterfall of the four at Ystradfellte due to the public footpath that leads behind the fall which allows hikers to walk freely and to the other side of the river.
As Wales had seen some heavy rain recently the river was in full flow and because of the spray I couldn't position my camera anywhere near the fall to get the shot I had originally planned.

As I set up my position , the morning light crept over the hillside and started to spill down the bank and onto the river. Unfortunately it was short lived as the rains returned and I had to retreat back to the the warmth of my car.
